For the first time, to celebrate the Windrush generation, the Black Cultural Archives has partnered with youth development charity Poetic Unity to host an evening of poetry live on Instagram.
Poets will be aged between 18 – 30 years old and of black and mixed heritage.
People looking to recognise the important day can join in on Monday 22nd June from 7pm via Black Cultural Archives’ Instagram account.

We are doing this event to celebrate the amazing achievements of the Windrush Generation but also to highlight this important part of Black British History to the wider community who may not know about these heroes.
